7-Day Safari & Beach Escape: Amboseli, Tsavo East & Mombasa

Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi

Upon your arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly received by our safari representative from Alistar Expeditions. A private transfer will take you to your hotel, Ibis Styles Hotel, Nairobi, where you can rest and acclimatize after your flight. Overnight stay with a Bed & Breakfast meal plan ensures a comfortable start to your adventure.

Day 2: Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

After breakfast at the hotel, embark on a scenic drive to Amboseli National Park, approximately 4–5 hours away. Renowned for its breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the park offers a unique blend of landscapes and wildlife. Upon arrival, check in at Sentrim Amboseli Lodge, where you’ll enjoy lunch before heading out for an afternoon game drive. The park’s diverse ecosystems, including swamps and dry lake beds, are home to large herds of elephants, lions, cheetahs, giraffes, and a variety of bird species. Return to the lodge for a delightful dinner under the stars. Overnight stay with a Full Board meal plan.

Day 3: Full Day in Amboseli National Park

Begin your day with an early morning game drive, capturing the park’s wildlife during the cooler hours. After breakfast, continue exploring Amboseli’s abundant wildlife and diverse ecosystems. Optional activities include a visit to a Maasai village (at an additional cost), offering insight into the rich cultural heritage of the region. Relax at the lodge between drives and enjoy panoramic views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Overnight stay at Sentrim Amboseli Lodge with a Full Board meal plan.

Day 4: Amboseli to Tsavo East National Park

After breakfast, depart for Tsavo East National Park, approximately 4 hours away. Known for its dramatic landscapes and red elephants, the park offers a unique safari experience. En route, enjoy a game drive and arrive at Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary in time for lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a game drive within the sanctuary, observing its diverse wildlife. Check in at Taita Hills Safari Resort & Spa for dinner and overnight stay with a Full Board meal plan.

Day 5: Tsavo East to Mombasa

After an early breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive (optional) before proceeding to Mombasa, approximately 4 hours away. Upon arrival, check in at PrideInn Flamingo Beach Resort, where you’ll have the rest of the day at leisure to relax on the beach or enjoy the resort’s amenities. Overnight stay in a Sea Facing Room with a Half Board meal plan.

Day 6: Beach Day at PrideInn Flamingo

Spend a full day unwinding by the ocean, swimming in the pool, or enjoying optional water sports. Optional excursions include visits to Mombasa Old Town, Fort Jesus, or a dhow cruise (available on request). Overnight stay at PrideInn Flamingo Beach Resort with a Half Board meal plan.

Day 7: Mombasa to Nairobi – Departure

After breakfast, transfer to Moi International Airport for a domestic flight to Nairobi. On arrival in Nairobi, connect to your international flight or transfer to a hotel (if needed and at an extra cost). This marks the end of your unforgettable safari and beach experience
